During my stay on the 19th & July 20, 2011 I encountered a problem with my room phones and my cell phone battery was dead. Your maintenance person tried to make repairs but was unable to correct the problem, I believer her name was Cookie. When it was determined she could not repair the phones, her and the front desk person, Ebony, searched everywhere for a charger for my cell even after I told them there was no need. If you check my account you will see I spend a lot of nights in Holiday Inns and I have never had anyone go to such lengths to make sure I was satisfied. I hope you will take a few seconds to pass on to them how much I appreciated their assistance. If and when I return to Charlotte I will be sure to stay in your hotel and hope to see these two again.

You should be very proud of your staff at the Holiday Inn University, particularly Aliya Constant, Keith Bost and Darlington Nwador. They each went above and beyond to make our reunion a success. Not only were they attentive to our needs and very hands on but they also had a pride about them. It was clear that they enjoyed their jobs and aimed to please. It's very rare that you get excellent customer service but we certainly did during our reunion at the Holiday Inn University.

To the Holiday Inn Staff: Wells Fargo would like to thank you for a wonderful stay at the beginning of May, 2011. The accommodations, food, meeting space and staff were all above par and our teammates had a fabulous experience in Charlotte NC in part, thanks to you and your hospitality. I would highly recommend the Holiday Inn University to others and will praise everything you did to make our stay most enjoyable. Just wanted to let you know what a terrific stay I had. Ebony at the FD was amazing & very friendly. Housekeeping was spot on! Jason at the bar was great. Everyone I came in contact with was all smiles & very friendly. P.S. Really thought the PC Club room was a great idea!

I wanted to let your management team know there has been significant positive enhancements with the recent management changes at your University City Hotel. I have been a guest several nights a week for the previous year and the recent improvements you have implemented have resulted in much greater guest experience. It has been a 200% improvement over the previous 6 months. Keep up the great work.....I look forward to my next visit.

On the weekend of April 16th and 17th I stayed at your hotel while visiting my 10 yr. old son who lives in Charlotte. It's tough to try and spend quality time with your son when it has to be in a hotel room, so I always try to make it as comfortable and normal as possible for both of us. When my son arrived, I suddenly realized we had a huge problem. At least a huge problem to my son. The TV was an older model and we were unable to connect his PlayStation to it. Like it or not I have come to accept that the PlayStation is an integral part of our visits. I went down to the desk and asked Joy if they could possibly switch out the TV. She wasn't sure so she checked with Ebony. Ebony explained that there just weren't any newer TV's in storage that they could send up. With that, the front desk team of Joy, Ebony and Roliesia went into high gear to try and find a way to solve the problem. They sent a maintenance lady to scope out unoccupied rooms that they knew had newer flat screen TV's. She reported back that there was one room. The desk crew immediately switched us to the new room and our weekend was saved. As an added benefit the new room also had a refrigerator, which was a big help and we were just down the hall from the Priority Club Room. I don't know if the crew was so helpful because I am a Priority Club Member. Regardless, I am very grateful for their help which made our stay as "home-like" as possible. Thanks again to Joy, Ebony and Roliesia. They did an outstanding job of representing your hotel.

“Wonderful Customer Service”

Upon my arrival on May 9, 2011 to the hotel I noticed right away the friendliness of an older gentleman by the name of Billy, he was very courteous. At the front desk I spoke with a lovely young lady by the name of Ebony she was a delight and quickly checked me into my room. Yes the hotel was a bit older but the staff more than made up for this. Thanks for a wonderful stay...

While traveling on Business to the EPRI Center the kindness and politeness of the staff made for a very nice stay. Especially the girl at the registration counter was very courteous and professionally polite during my entire stay. But really, the room was very clean, the food was tasty, and the entire staff was all quite friendly. I will definitely stay there again when traveling Charlotte NC. Thank-you!
